We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer to help us build new applications in the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Angular and (C# or Java).
This is a contract-to-hire position working hybrid 3/2 in our client’s office in McKinney, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain user-facing features using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes into high-quality code
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and standards
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth application performance
- Write minimal .NET code to handle tasks such as calling services
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects
- Proficiency in Angular and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of .NET and experience writing minimal .NET code
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., ADO)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry
- Knowledge of front-end build tools and automation (e.g., Webpack, Gulp)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end applications
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
