Solution Architect – nCino

We are seeking an nCino Solution Architect to join our banking technology team in Plano, TX. This role is a critical bridge between our business needs and the technical implementation of the nCino Lending System. 

Your role will combine deep product expertise, technical design skills, and lending knowledge to ensure nCino is configured and customized to deliver maximum value.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business & Requirements Analysis

• Work closely with SMEs to understand their workflows.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solution designs using nCino’s modules (Commercial Lending, Retail Lending, Treasury Management, etc.).
• Identify gaps between standard nCino functionality and client needs, recommending the best-fit approach (configuration vs. customization).

Solution & Technical Design

• Design end-to-end solutions leveraging nCino + Salesforce platform capabilities (Lightning, Apex, APIs, data models).
• Define system architecture, integration points, and data flows between nCino, Jack Henry banking core, and third-party applications (e.g., credit bureaus, document management).
• Ensure solutions are compliant with regulatory and security standards (FFIEC, SOX, SOC2, GDPR, etc.).

Implementation Leadership

• Provide technical leadership to implementation teams, including developers, admins, and consultants.
• Create detailed solution blueprints, configuration guides, and technical documentation.
• Oversee system configuration, code development, testing, and deployment to ensure alignment with the solution design.
• Ensure solutions are designed with strong data governance, reporting, and analytics in mind to support compliance and executive decision-making.
• Mentor and coach consultants, developers, and administrators to ensure best practices in design, coding, and configuration.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a trusted advisor to banking executives and IT leaders.
• Communicate complex technical designs in business-friendly language.
• Work with project managers and TPMs to ensure timelines, risks, and deliverables are managed.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay up to date with nCino releases, Salesforce platform enhancements, and industry best practices.
• Recommend process improvements and new features to help banks increase efficiency, reduce risk, and improve customer experience.
• Mentor junior architects and consultants.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience implementing nCino (Commercial Banking, Retail, Treasury, Collateral, Covenant, Loan Origination, etc.) for a bank.
• Experience integrating nCino/Salesforce with core banking systems (Jack Henry), credit bureaus, payment rails, and document management platforms.
• Preferred certifications: nCino Bank Operating System certifications (nCino 201, 301) and Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect).
• Expert knowledge of banking operations, credit/lending processes, and financial regulations.
• Ability to design integrations with core banking, document management, credit bureau, and compliance systems.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Familiarity with SAFe methodologies.
• Willingness and ability to work hybrid (on-site 3-4 days per week) in Plano, TX.
• Must be able to work for any employer without sponsorship.
