We are seeking a Business Data Analyst with a strong understanding of mortgage loan origination systems (LOS) and lending operations to join our team in Plano. You’ll play a critical role in tracking issues, surfacing insights, and delivering meaningful Power BI reports across projects, service tickets, and system updates.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, process improvement, and lending technology — someone who speaks the language of lenders and tech teams fluently.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze service tickets, resolution timelines, system updates, and project milestones
- Build and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Collaborate across tech and business teams to surface actionable insights
- Monitor system incidents and identify trends or root causes
- Document and communicate technical and operational findings to stakeholders
- Understand and analyze workflows within Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
- Help improve reporting frameworks and escalation visibility
Who You Are
- Experienced in Power BI and Excel-based reporting
- Naturally curious with strong analytical thinking
- Former mortgage loan officer or someone with deep lending/LOS domain expertise
- Able to translate between technical and business needs with ease
- Proactive communicator who enjoys solving operational bottlenecks
- Willing to work on-site in Plano, TX 3 days per week
Preferred Backgrounds
You might have held titles like:
- Lending Operations Analyst
- Business Intelligence Analyst – Mortgage Technology
- Technical Business Analyst – Lending Systems
- Mortgage Loan Officer in the past
Experience in incident management, process improvement, or reporting analytics within lending environments is required.
