Technical Product Owner

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner who is an expert in SAFe to lead the development of our cutting-edge banking products. 

Key Responsibilities

1. User Stories: Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and communicate product requirements to development teams using SAFe and Agile methodologies.
2. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful delivery of product features.
3. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, customer needs, and competitive products to inform product decisions.
4. Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks associated with product development and deployment, including compliance and security concerns.
5. Testing and Validation: Participate in product testing, validation, and user acceptance testing to ensure the product meets quality standards and customer expectations.
6. Product Launch: Coordinate product launches, providing support to marketing and sales teams as needed.
7. Feedback Loop: Continuously gather feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to iterate on product features and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree in finance or banking is a plus.
• Proven success as a Product Owner or Product Manager in banking / financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking products and services, including payments, lending, and digital banking. Also seeking expertise in data or Salesforce.
• Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven product decisions.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the banking sector.
• Ability to work hybrid 3/2, with three days in the office in Plano TX
