Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable IBMi / Jack Henry Support Analyst to join our banking technology team. This role will focus on supporting our Jack Henry SilverLake core banking environment, troubleshooting IBMi issues, and providing backup programming and operations support. The ideal candidate has strong technical troubleshooting skills, familiarity with Jack Henry banking core platforms, and the ability to work effectively with both internal business users and vendor support.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve IBMi job run and print issues.
- Maintain Jack Henry SilverLake security (GL batch assignments, collection queue assignments, global security templates, etc.).
- Act as liaison between business lines and Jack Henry for escalated break/fix issues.
- Provide support and backup coverage for the lead IBMi RPG programmer.
- Troubleshoot Jack Henry jXchange issues.
- Provide backup coverage for night operator during end-of-day (EOD) processing.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency with IBMi command line (CL) operations.
- Hands-on experience with Jack Henry SilverLake core banking systems.
- Familiarity with Jack Henry jXchange.
- Experience with Windows Server environments.
Preferred Skills
- RPG programming experience (or willingness to learn if other programming background is present).
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite required)
